Cub Scout Pack 679

Who Can Join Pack 679?

 

• Cub Scout Pack 679 primarily serves children in the  Cascade Ridge, Discovery, and Sunny Hills Elementary attendance areas, but children from any school or home-school are welcome.

• Children of any gender are invited to join Pack 679

• We provide year-round programs for grades K-5

• We meet on Wednesday nights 6:30-8:00PM. There are also occaisional weekend activities/hikes/camps.

• We emphasize outdoor activities like hiking and camping, and incorporate STEM activities like robotics, science and physics through fun activities including the Pinewood Derby, Raingutter Regatta, Bike Rodeo, and more.

 

Getting Signed Up

• Register your child online via the Be A Scout website.

• Have each adult in the family fill out the Family Talent Survey.  Email it to pack679sam@gmail.com

• Read our New Family Orientation presentation

• To participate in some of our outdoor activities we need a completed medical form. This also allows us to know if your child has any allergies or conditions we need to take into consideration.

• You can pay your Scout's annual dues via Zelle at pack679sam@gmail.com

Do Your Best!

The best way to find out what you do best is to do it. Catch a fish. Ride a bike. Set up a tent. Build a Pinewood Derby® car. Shoot a bow and arrow. Cub Scouting offers boys and girls the opportunity to see and learn fun, new things that can’t be found anywhere else.

​

Cub Scouts are at that magical age where everything is new and possible and, most important, fun. They build things. Play with purpose. Make friends and work together. The life lessons learned here not only transform today’s Cub Scouts into tomorrow’s Scouts BSA members but also help form a foundation to embrace opportunity and overcome obstacles in life.
